Gail Goldberg
Gail Goldberg is the Founder and President of Launch Solutions, Inc., bringing 25+ years of a unique blend of business experience, education, intuition and creativity to her clients. High energy and growth oriented, her expertise in strategic and tactical change management; business development, and marketing have helped clients transform challenges into opportunities to successfully change and grow their organizations. Creating value for growing businesses, she has worked with a variety of industries, identifying clients; landing their business and providing change management services to assist her clients to identify, harness and maximize the value of change.
Gail’s clients trust her. They know she can be counted on in good times and bad; and when necessary, will be at their side in the trenches. In addition, beyond her education, she has years of actual experience mirroring the dreams and goals of a her clients– entrepreneurial and mid-size company business owners– and has dealt with the same types of challenges and impediments facing them on a daily basis, keeping them stuck in some part of the corporate cycle. She has a first-hand understanding of the financial and psychological realities that influence their business decisions, bringing a practicality and realism to the programs that Launch creates to meet needs and achieve objectives. Gail is personally involved with every client and project; and she and her team are your ideal partners to help transform and successfully grow your company.
A champion for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Gail says that “…by helping others, you help yourself.” Assisting organizations formulate a realistic and practical program of corporate social responsibility that is interwoven into the organization’s DNA - strategy, operations and culture– is one of the cornerstones of Launch’s approach to change management. As part of Launch’s Change Management toolbox, Gail believes that CSR is not just for the large companies but for all organizations– big and small; and when integrated properly, is a “Win-Win” situation for all.
For most of Gail’s business career, she was a Principal and Sr. Vice President of one of New York’s premier architectural woodworking firms. She also served as the Director of Business Development and Marketing for two well known construction companies in New York City. Prior to her business career, she was a teacher.
Gail graduated cum laude from Boston University, and also has an M.A. in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. A perpetual student, she has taken programs in negotiation at M.I.T and Harvard; as well as courses in marketing, public relations, creative writing, coaching and event planning for not-for-profits at N.Y.U.
An enthusiastic participant in industry associations, Gail is active on the CoreNet– NYC Chapter Programs Committee; and she sits on the Advisory Board, and the Membership Committee of the Greater New York Construction Users Council (GNYCUC). A member of the NY Building Congress, she has joined their Communications Committee; and Environment Committee. Goldberg is also a member of AREW and SMPS. She previously served on the Executive Committee of the Manufactures Woodworkers Association for ten years; and was on the Membership Committee of the New York Society for Health Planning. In 2003, she was named U.S. Congressional Businesswoman of the Year.
